Which one of them would make a better Führer?
>>18036228Himmler because his name is the closest to Hitler
>>18036228why would Tito succeed him?
>>18036250TITO-
>>18036228Goring and its not even close. Himmler and Goebbells suffered too much from being up Hitlers ass too much and both were autist with none of the charm of Hitler. Goring on the other hand was a very bombastic and gregarious man known for charming even Allied enemies, generals and enlisted. Theres a movie about the Nuremberg Trials with Brian Cox playing Goring and I think its really great at showing the sort of person he was. After Hitlers death, he became the de facto leader of the Nazi command. You might point out that this is only because he was the highest ranking remaining one, but this would have happened anyway.
>>18036375Himmler was autistic yes, but Goebbels?I thought he had lots of charisma
>>18036228Himmler had the Atlantean Aryan autistic vision to make the Reich really kino, but it was too impractical for this gay timeline.
Reminder Goring was an opiate addicted powderpoof crossdresser
>>18036228Himmler. It should've been Goering though. I feel like Hitler never 100% trusted Goebbels.>>18036674Based. That's peak national socialism.
>>18036228Goering officially was the successor. But got swapped out at the last minute for Doenitz because Hitler perceived him as disloyal>>18036687He only trusted Goebbels actually
>>18036383
>>18036228Obviously Goering because Goering was Hitler's legally designated successor. If Goering was incapacitated then Rudolf Hess was next in line and if Rudolf Hess was incapacitated also, then the Supreme Justice of the Reichsgericht would preside as caretaker until the (at the time, unrealized) Reich Senate convened to elect a new Fuehrer.
>Hitler (born 1889)>Himmler (born 1900)>Goebbels (born 1897)>Goering (born 1893)All very close in age. If Hitler had won the war, he would have held on to power for the rest of his natural life, and his most likely successor (by the early to mid 1960s) would have been some up-and-coming war hero born around 1915-1920. My guess would be Hans-Ulrich Rudel. He was born in 1916, so towards the end of Hitler's life he would have been middle-aged and established. He was a fanatical Nazi; even in 'our' timeline, he remained dedicated to Nazism after 1945. And he was the most decorated dive bomber pilot in the entire war (whether truthfully or not, he was credited with destroying hundreds of tanks and sinking a cruiser).
>>18036383>>18038043Goebbels was a creative type of thinker, so he suffered from mental instability and chronic depression. However, people who knew him seem to agree that, while extremely vain (he was known to get regular manicures), he had a certain charm about him. Not Goering's level of charm, and certainly not Hitler's (nearly everyone who knew Hitler personally adored him), but still a lot more charm than a normal guy. I doubt just anyone could have pulled off some of his public appearances.
>>18038043Is this before or after he joined the Nazis? I'd be pretty demoralized too if I had to live in 1920s Weimar Germany.
>>18036375>Realistically which one of them was most likely to succeed Hitler?Assuming a natural succession (so no downfall scenario) Goebbels. He was very well entrenched within the NSDAP and the other institutions of the Reich. Himmler is a close second though. >Which one of them would make a better Führer?Göring. He was the most normal of the three.>>18036375>After Hitlers death, he became the de facto leader of the Nazi command.No. Göring lost relevance within the regime around 1942/43. Further, Göring was even arrested in late april of 1945 because he made a blatant grab for power while Hiter was still alive. Göring was stripped of his ranks and forced to resign. The political last will of Hitler even revoked Görings NSDAP membership. After Görign got captured by the americans he assumed they would treat him like the sole official representative of Nazi Germany - this was not the case and no negotiations were held with him.Dönitz was made Reichspräsident (head of state) and Commander in Chief of the Wehrmacht. Goebbels was made Reichskanzler (head of the government).
Was Himmler really that autistic?
>>18036425What was some of the stuff he wanted to do?
Goebbels because he made good movies.
>>18036228me
>>18038233He wasn't nearly as autistic as memes and quotes would have a person believe but yes.
>>18036228It depends at what point. Goring for most of Nazi rule, but he fell out of favour near the end.
It's either Heydrich or someone from the Wehrmacht like Donitz or Reichnau. If the war is concluded then it's just elections
>>18036228Dirlewanger
>>18036228Had Germany won the war, Hitler would have dissolved the office of Fuhrer upon his resignation or death just as he did when he appointed Goebbels Head of Government and Dönitz as Reichspräsident. In my opinion, the only way the office of Führer succeeds Hitler is if he dies or becomes incapacitated before he can institute this reform.
>>18036228None, the nazi state was a dead end beyond Hitler. You'll see it again when Trump succumbs to entropy.
