How come the misconception come from that poeple in the past were prude and stuck up? Looking at old movies theres way more action between man and woman and men where really hands on pushing around women as they pleased. Is it modern propaganda to represent women as needing to be 'conquered' and having such higher standards to make men work harder and population will not reproduce?
It's partly social engineering.
