Where does the misconception come from that poeple in the past were prude and stuck up? Looking at old movies theres way more action between man and woman and men where really hands on pushing around women as they pleased. Is it modern propaganda to represent women as needing to be 'conquered' and having such higher standards to make men work harder and population will not reproduce?
>>
BTW, even the Victorians were perverts.
>>
Humans have always liked sex, from the begining of time. Take for example Greek symposia, Roman erotic art, and even medieval fertility festivals.
>>
I hate you disingenuous faggots, we call them prudish and stuck up because they weren't discussing it nearly as openly, regularly, and vividly, and this is a FACT, cherrypicked anecdotes and private letters do not count.
>>
Have you seen the internet?
We humans are stupid horny and internet is just top pf the iceberg.
Only thing is that some try to deny it as degeneracy and those who don't deny it at all degenerate into crazed sex cults that fuck anything that moves and doesn't move.

hippie scum
>>
Maybe it has to do with the perception that we are now living in the "liberated" times, so old times must have been "prude" ones, as many assume.
>>
>>18055372
When in the prude times it wasn't uncommon for priests, monk and married men to visit prostitutes and drink.
There is even mentions of how nuns were doing pretty much same thing.

Because what they did and what was seen as respectable were two different things and a lot of stuff was covered up to maintain the front of respectability.

For instance, look at the "Chips" Channon diaries that were published shortly after his death, which is an interesting but fairly dull workaday account of a politicians life. Compared to the full, unedited edition that was published recently, specifically 60 years after his death where everyone else involved would also be dead, where he openly talks about his numerous affairs with women and men and him being willing to fuck a plank of wood if he could.

>we call them prudish and stuck up because they weren't discussing it nearly as openly, regularly, and vividly,
I'm no expert but maybe that's just how media and people's time worked back then. Most people were illiterate and didn't have access to sex-related literature or anything like that, since even those things were pretty rare and even literate people generally allocated time to other things. So sex-related stuff that survived to this day from that age was rare. It doesn't necessarily mean people themselves weren't horny.
There's also difference between talking/seeing and actually doing.
Sure a medieval man might not see or read sex-related stuff right in the palm of his hands shows, porn etc every day. like we do now, but that doesn't stop him from actually fucking women.

Wrong.

I remember reading something like 1 in 8 women in London in the late 1800s was a prostitute.
>>
>>18053908
They knew the difference between a public and private persona though

You are genuinely comparing a playing card sized cartoon of titties illustrating a romance story about knights and princesses with Bonnie Blue being fucked by a thousand strangers in HD?
>>
>>18055428
The definition of "prostitute" in late 1800s London being "a woman who isn't married".

>>
>>18055457
Hey, goalposts mover boi, did Guinevere and Lancelot played cards or had some sex-related stuff in the story?
>>
>>18055465
>characters having sex is the same as OnlyFans being a multibillion dollar company and it's performers being household name celebrities

Wow, a shill like you just can't answer a simple question about the classic literature? Typing gibberish about kosher celebrities and thy overlord web sites won't change the fact that sex related stuff was made in the past.

Most women were virgins at marriage.
Most media was not openly sexual.
waaaaay less than 85% of the population were addicted to pornography.

Sex existing as a part of life does not mean sex should be degraded and given away for free.
stop watching porn.

Did it ever occur to people that this exist precisely because, people aren't having s much real se in the first place?
