Why is killing animals immoral by today standards? And why there are so many vegan and green activists? So many animal lovers, that sometimes see animals as more important than fellow human.

If people like that existed during Megafauna times, we would be all extinct. Is mortality imposed by religions to blame here?

It's called compassion. They are aganist the terrible hell that is intensive animal farming and not just killing animals
>>
>>18055190
Oh it must be terrible to get fed and taken care of.

Mass chicken egg laying/harvesting warehouses are one of the most hellish things I have ever seen. I'm not even sure they're still do it like that since the 80's/90's. This is coming from someone who loves meat.

Go live in prison, you'll be safe, fed, and have a roof over your head and even healthcare. Great deal right?

People like you fucked up already by anthropomorphising animals. They are not human, don't feel or think like humans.
>>
>>18055316
I would rather eat a free ranged chicken than one crammed in a 18 inch square cage fed on a conveyor belt its whole life. Animals feel distress just like humans and I cant help but imagine it affects the product in some way.
You are what you eat so they say.

The Meat industry is pretty grueling. It has been improving a lot in years though

Why should I care what some dead ancient retards said. Humans are carnivores.

Why not be a rapist and pedo too

Humans are omnivores, retard.

for some it come from emotions, others come to similar conclusion through logic

>Why is killing animals immoral by today standards?
Because the animals live in terrible living conditions before being slaughtered, and the slaughtering process is often painful.
>>
It's wasteful and cruel. Killing to eat is one thing.

>Why is killing animals immoral by today standards?
Its more acceptable than it has ever been.
>And why there are so many vegan and green activists?
Because there are so many people. A little concept called per capita. No more or less than there should be.
>So many animal lovers, that sometimes see animals as more important than fellow human.
And so what? You see humans as more important than animals. Both positions seem to be, retarded
>If people like that existed during Megafauna times, we would be all extinct.
What proof do you have of this? You can respect animal and still be able to stab it with a spear.
>Is mortality imposed by religions to blame here?
Go try to kill a cow by yourself with just a knife instead of dogshit bait threads
>>
Many religions imposed animal death, labor, and sacrifice, and structured society around human needs.

Animals are literally sub-human and we're made to bend to humans will
