For these women, the concept of atheism doesn't even register in their heads even for a single millisecond and thus they encounter no doubts about Islam. Since birth these women have only ever known religion. The stories in the Qu'ran, the Hadith are still as amazing and astonishing as when they first read them as children and these stories such as the stories of Moses, Noah, Muhammad's night journey, etc are relayed to their children over and over and the importance emphasized continuously. Even though these women live in the West and are raising their children in the West their heads and brains seem completely impenetrable to atheistic thought. I guarantee that these women have never even heard of Richard Dawkins or Sam Harris or Christopher Hitchens. People with these ideas are just totally invisible to these women who conceive of nothing but pure religious certainty and conviction. No, there are plenty of women who dress like that and go to university, at least in the UK, and some are very well read. I have talked to a few, mostly online since they are wary of speaking to guys in person I don’t think they are as completely immune to doubts as you suppose but they handle them more easily because their identity is so invested in Islam and all of their friends and family are. It’s not that they can’t imagine a universe without Islam, but they can’t imagine themselves without it
