If you have a right to a jury of your peers why don't juvenile offenders have other kids in the jury?Has any country done this in human history?
>a jury of your peersI have no peers.
Some countries allow adults acting as peer representatives, but the jurors are still adults.
>>18059817"Jury of their peers" originated in the Magna Carta, where it refered to nobles not being subjects to the kings judgment, but had the right to be judged by other nobles. It was about social class and since under the constitution all men are equal your jury can be anybody. It has nothing to do with age or race or, since a few decades ago, sex.
