More she was necessary than she was good. Britain couldn't keep funding outdated industries that hadn't been profitable in literally decades by the 80s but you couldn't turn off the tap because the unions would freak the fuck out and Labour and wet Tories both kicked the can down the road over the issue for decades. If someone had dealt with the unions in the 60s or 70s Maggie never would have got her foot in the door
