Louis de Saint-Just a.k.a. "The Angel of Death" was a leading figure in the French Revolution and close ally and protégé of Robespierre. He is often credited as the architect of the so called Jacobin "Reign of Terror" which would see tens of thousands put to death in the name of the Revolution. He would end up being arrested and put to the guillotine himself during the fall of Robespierre's regime. He was just 26 at the time.
