Can a war be mutually unjust? Or is there always a just side in every conflict?

Humans enjoy pissing each other off for no reason and then act surprised when they get smacked for it
Is what it is

There are aggressors and defenders in every conflict, but beyond that, most nations are mainly focused in their own best interest.

WWI, for example, is a war where all sides were fighting to expand their influence or suppress the influence of another major power.

That would be more horrifying, imagine a snake with a human face

Frogs eat each other all the time so it probably wouldn't be that weird for them

Thats most wars. Its really rare for one side to be either good or comically evil, most of the time its just two equally bad people fighting

A lot of 20th-century to contemporary civil wars can be summarized as "every side is made up of and/or led by huge assholes, bankrolled by people almost as bad or even worse, and the only sympathetic side is doomed or already dead."
