It’s always about a special little guy or girl that never does anything wrong and is treated poorly by normies just for being different. It’s exactly what has caused entire swathes of western women to assume the archetype of “teehee, I’m not liek the other gorls ;p” It has also been a key building block in the general cultural zeitgeist that was/is (is the wind changing?) pro-minority and pro-immigrant.
