Both are capitalist economies with heavy state intervention that relies on class collaborationism, that is quite literally the entire economic basis of Italian fascism.China also heavily embraces ethnonationalism akin to that of Italian fascism and justifies authoritarianism with the Confucian model which is no different from Mussolini arguing that authoritarianism was somehow more “efficient” than democracy. Modern China is functionally no different from Fascist Italy.
