Starting with, say, the 1st French Empire, which regime do you think was the best in France after the revolution?

Which Republic of Monarchy (or even a specific monarch) do you believe would have been best suited not only for the French people, but for the future of France? Assume that things go generally right for whatever regime you choose.

part of it is probably just larping because muh Bonapartes but I like to imagine that the late-stage 2nd French Empire could have been good had they not been drawn into a retarded war with the Prussians.

With enough democratic concessions I can maybe see it as a well funtioning constitutional Empire.

Republicans, bonapartists, and even monarchists never tried to reverse the disastrous centralization of France and therefore I don't really like any of them.

the french republic, not the later ones under control of the burgeoise, was a promising experiment gone wrong. Every right of man was respected and not twisted around like the later republics around the world. Even today our republican system is just a shadow of the first one.
Also, I know understand why the french tricolor looks so good, the famous painting Jacques-Louis David was involved in its creation
