>a bunch of hairless monkeys figured out how to build this and then used it to sail across the Atlantic
Literally how

Muslims andalusians invented the caravel and the astrolabe which allowed Columbus to navigate successfully

maybe but the fact remains that muslims andalusians can't sail the ocean blue

No, they didn't. The astrolabe is ancient and existed in the West before Islam existed at all.
>caravel
Development of the caravel is explicitly Christian Iberian. There's a theory that it was influenced early on by some Andalus ship type, but that's a theory nor significant enough to say Muslims invented it.

Why do all "Muslim inventions" fall apart under even the most basic scrutiny? I've seen them claim shit IRL too.

Vikings discovered America setting out from Iceland 500 years before your 'raid'
Don't compare humans to roaches

The eternal frog raped more than a few hundred thousand roaches though

Implies the ability to wield power, which Polynesians could not do. They were isolated islands of inbred retards, spread by hurricanes accidentally dumping them on random islands.

Spaniards were the only ones to navigate through unknown oceans for weeks/months without other previous references. Not just all the Atlantic but also all the Pacific (the Spain also named).

Spaniards descend from the Atlantida and that is why they were always superior to any other.

Other nations had to steal the maps that Spain gathered in order to be able to compete in navigation.

Also the massive task of the first circunnavigation in history. I wonder why no one has done a film about this adventure. Much better script than 99.999% of hollywood films.

It is named as "Magellan Expedition" but he died mid travel. The ones that achieved it were Spaniards with Elcano.

The Portuguese developed a caravel that could cross the Atlantic by Prince Henry the Navigator's ~15 voyages as to cope with the Sargasso Sea

Santa Maria was actually a carrack ship ...
>>
>>18102173
Portugal was in the perfect geographic position to develop a naval industry, impelled by a wealthy nobility who was willing to finance voyages, mostly with the goal of spreading Christianity. When colonialism and distant trade proved to be a worthy investment, there was a further need to develop bigger and better ships to carry more cargo and to be able to defend it
