And why did he curse half of mankind with hair loss?
>>
>>18104075
Baldness is tied with higher testosterone. So he was likely the dominant leader of his tribe, keeping most of the women for himself
>>

Nobody seemed to care about it until like the 90s, not sure why. To me personally l, baldness only looks ridiculous if you’re balding on top but have absurdly long hair on the sides. I don’t know why someone like George Costanza would be considered funny-looking.
>>

>not sure why
Skyrocketing average age of population. For most of history the population was very young and balding was irrelevant to society

>For most of history the population was very young and balding was irrelevant to society
For most of history, if you survived to adulthood, you could probably see your 60s-70s.
>>
>>18104110
I don’t see how that makes it inherently ridiculous or repulsive, though. There has always been bald people, even in their 30s and 40s. As far as I know, it’s only seen that way in America, although maybe I’m wrong, someone from a different country with a similar average age would have to tell me.

If the population is older on average, shouldn’t that make balding more widely accepted than it was before?
>>
>>18104113
It's not a matter of survival but birthrates. 60-70 year olds are a tiny marginal part of any traditional population. Things that only affect them are something the society at large inherently doesn't care about.

>If the population is older on average, shouldn’t that make balding more widely accepted than it was before?
I don't think it's "unaccepted" it's just a massive source of insecurity that a huge chunk of the population is always undergoing. It certainly was saddening to people in the past too but it just didn't matter.

Unless you're egregiously unlucky balding starts in your mid '20s at the earliest, more than enough time to pump a couple kids into your wife/mistress/concubine etc
>>
>>18104075
1 and 7 look based. Anything in between is cringe.

parasite cleanse, chlorine dioxide CDS, scalp massage, and sleeping on back without pillow reversed balding.

Julius Caesar was insecure about it
>Suetonius (c.69 – c.122 AD) describes Caesar as "tall of stature with a fair complexion, shapely limbs, a somewhat full face, and keen black eyes".[270] He adds that the balding Caesar was sensitive to teasing on the subject, and therefore had a combover. Suetonius reports that Caesar was thus especially pleased to be granted the honour of wearing a wreath at all times.[271]

People don’t pair off as teens anymore so balding is much more of a factor in romance.
Balding is probably passed on by women more than men.
>>
>>18104251
that's crazy cause i always saw caesar's balding hairstyle as iconic.

Early stages are surprisingly common in the mid and late 20s. It looks more like recession or slight thinning though.
>>
>>18104106
People wore Toupées in the 20th century, and wigs and hats prior. Idea of wearing a hat inside being rude is less than 200 years old.
>>
>>18104075
Because you reproduce before going bald, so it has no effect on sexual selection.
>>
>>18104075
Being bald is fucking irrelevant unless you're so much of an insecure little bitch you get noticeably neurotic about it.
Get a grip on yourself

I'd like to know why caucasoid men (and men with significant caucasoid ancestry) bald at higher rates compared to east Asians, Africans, and Native Americans

>retarded shitskin starts babbling about testosterone and other science his shitskin culture never invented
Dihydrotestosterone (the anagen that causes baldness) isn't the same as testosterone. Nor are all men sensitive to it. High testosterone also doesn't cause baldness.
Are you one of those retards who took finasteride and ended up with a limp dick? Only a baldie could cope this hard.

Dht to T/E imbalance most likely
>>
>>18104106
Because prior to then most people would be married by the age of 21, before balding set in. At that point if your husband went bald... Whatever, he's already your husband. Dating was never meant to be a thing that lasted into your mid and late 20s, let alone 30s
>>
>>18105016
Balding is an inherently Germanic Aryan trait and a prerequisite to entering agartha. Ever seen a balding Italian with brown eyes? I don't think so.
>>
>>18105016
Now that you mention it, I've never seen a full-blooded Plains Indian, Mesoamerican, or South American with any signs of baldness, even just temple receding.

I wonder how much the edar asiatic variant that make the hair shaft thicker prevent androgenetic alopecia
>>

This has been debooooonked so many times can't believe people still post this
As you get old you lose testosterone

Women used to be property. So a woman didn't have to find the man attractive to have kids with him.

Native American hair genes are something else. There's a lot of Natives around here and I often see old Native men with thick, long, still dark or only slightly greying hair. They can have nicer hair than a lot of white women do at that age. Pic related - the former president of Peru, he's in his 80s.
>>
>he thinks women used to be picky
Back before women were allowed to vote, own property, or live independently at all, they'd settle for almost any man that could provide for them and wasn't a brute.
