Redpill me on why Europe has more languages than China
Not sure what ye mean. Both have hundreds of languages.
>>18104429Doesn't china just have mandarin
>>18104436The absolute state of /his/
>>18104785now show the map of the majority language spoken, it is just mandarin, a bit of cantonese in the south and random blobs of tibetan, mongolian and uygur in the middle of nowhere
>>18104812Of course Mandarin is the majority spoken language. A country needs to have internal communication and needs a central language to have that. Doesn't change the fact that China has many spoken languages. Europe isn't a country, but the countries in Europe that have multiple languages still have a central language that everyone learns such as the France, Spain, UK, etc.
>>18104390Forced assimilation, really. There are many languages in China today, but the maps don’t convey the reality on the ground with most of them being a permanent minority second language. There used to be tons of dialects so unique that they could only be considered separate languages after enough distance. If forced assimilation didn’t happen then the majority Han eastern 1/3rd of China would probably be 30 different languages. >>18104785This
>>18105019Was the assimilation mostly through marriage
>>18105229Mass migration
>>18104390>Redpill me on why Europe has more languages than ChinaBecause Europeans are Israelites, who were many nations, as stated in the Bible.
>>18104390more genetic diversity
>>18105513>we wuz jooz n shit
>>18104785Were there ever really that many Koreans in Manchuria?
>>18105562Yes, there was several mass migrations throughout history. During the Ming dynasty, Qing dynasty, Japanese annexation of Korea, and Manchukuo. Koreans were the primary farmers there and I believe one of the most pro-CCP minorities in China. A lot of that land also used to be part of ancient Korea but those Koreans were long since assimilated.
>>18105539>we wuz jooz n shitThat copy pasta is posted by jews (Edomites) to ridicule the discussion about the topic.
