If the simulation is a 1:1 copy of reality complete with permadeath, then what is the actual discernable difference or meaningful implications of just accepting the matrix?

>If you disagree that there’s any significant probability that this is true, you’re simply afraid to confront the reality
Okay, I’ll bite even though you weren’t replying to me. What’s the bad news? What’s so horrifying about it? If I was confronted with undeniable evidence that we lived in a simulation tomorrow, my first reaction would be to be extremely impressed with its creators. It wouldn’t challenge my beliefs, because even though it would mean that the God I believe in doesn’t really exist, it would also be a major relief because I’d immediately know who the real God was, or Gods. The creators of the simulation. I’d be greatly impressed with the whole operation and how there’s no obvious cracks in it.

Why would it be bad news? Does it somehow make our lives less significant? I don’t think so.

Even if we did, so what? It changes nothing.

I'm pretty sure I'm an experiment and everyone else is fake. An endurance contest that revolves around how much I can tolerate
