If the UK was an Anglican theocracy would it have lost the British empire?
>>
Would've never gained it in the first place desu

If that meant preventing US independence, then it should've been a theocracy. Americans dumbed down Protestantism beyond repair

When was southern south america ever part of the empire.

Probably not. The Empire had spread further/more widely than it could sustain, particularly with the scramble for Africa. Britain felt it had to go into Africa because France was going into Africa (in order to massage their egos after getting ROFLstomped so catastrophically in the Franco-Prussian war) - and if France found something economically/strategically relevant there, that Britain didn't also have access to, then that could upset the balance of power in Europe, which would inevitably lead to another massive war.

From that point on the unproductive/costly colonies were costing more than the UK and its productive/profitable colonies could support (largely because there were no resources that the economies of the day could really benefit from in Africa, and they required large amounts of money spent on police/occupational troops to prevent the local tribes from murderraping each other every other week), and the British Empire was on a countdown to either massively downsizing or breaking down completely.

Without the World Wars there's a chance that Britain might have been able to downsize the Empire to the point where it was a viable long term project - most likely by keeping the Dominions and former colonies within the Imperial Preference trading block - but only if you don't account for the actions of other countries. With the wars though, and the absolutely apocalyptic damage they did to the UK, the breakup of the Empire was largely inevitable - with the best case scenario being that rather than America forcing decolonisation in the most retarded way possible that the process could have taken a few decades and left the countries set up to have at least a vague chance of success.

Somehow he seems to have used the same color for the UK, Spain, and Portugal.
