When hitler took over more territories than him? He made faggy alliances and republics that are so boooooring. Instead Hitler just made it part of its reich (direct control). This is what real conquest is, not some faggy treaty or semi puppet state that could leave you when favorable conditions come.
>>
People still don't want to give the third Reich any credence. Which is a shame because some of the things that made fascism work are sorely needed.
>>

Both Hitler and Napoleon were very good leaders.
If they're going toe-to-toe I'd say Hitler would've surpassed him if he managed to seize Moscow, but he didn't.
There's a reason Nietzsche saw Napoleon as the greatest man to ever live. Napoleon was truly great, like Alexander great.
>>
>>18107179
Then why do I see names of kingdoms on the lands he conquered? Why didn't he lined them up to the wall and directly controlled the administration from Paris? This is called alliances not conquest okay? He just took over some shitty german city states that even a ragtag militia from libya could do nowadays. I want the op map entirely dark blue, just Napolean the king
>>
>>18107171
Yes it cuz nobody can praise hitler so instead they do it with napolean. Hitler controlled area from France to Moscow
>>
>>18107194
Anon I was gonna write a lengthy post explaining in detail why your line of thought isn't taking the context and feasibilities and impact Napoleon had on Europe but I genuinely just don't want to waste my time, I'm sorry.
>>
>>18107239
I just think Hitler had a wider impact
>>
>>18107250
He didn't, don't get me wrong he had a huge impact even saying Hitler is taboo, maybe time hasn't marinated Hitler's legacy yet, but as it stands Napoleon is clearly the more influential, the concept of state is Napoleonic, the concept of war is Napoleonic, even his wars were called the Napoleonic Wars.
>>
>>18107164
>Napolean
>>
>>18107164
What? You think Hitler annexed all his allies/defeated-enemies?
Hitler and Napoleon were both era-defining Great Men in the historical sense.
>>
>>18107281
>>18107179
What about Timur the Lame
>>
>>18107164
Hitler also made faggy alliances with Italy and Japan, wtf you talking about. It's called the Axis. Hitler also set up bogus puppet state republics. Wtf was Vichy France?
>This is what real conquest is
You're absolutely delulu about real history living a fantasy.
>>
>>18107750
They weren't a hundred small shitty kingdoms that left napoleon the moment he lost in Waterloo. Italy and Japan fought till death and controlled territories directly from their capital. Vichy france had its autonomy reduced gradually and became under Nazi direct control. You would be praising the Mongol empire too idiot because it was bunch of cheiftains claiming allegiance to a Khan that didn't even have a single say in matters of administration or taxation
>>
Napoleon was the perhaps singular best general in history.
Hitler was a gifted demagogue who got a a great military bureaucracy handed to him on a silver platter. Then promptly started to ruin it as the war went on.
>>
>>18107164
>Napoleon won five wars in a row
>Hitler lost his only war
Germany's territory was merely occupied, not formally annexed like Napoleon's.
>>
>>18107164
>muh Hitler
Pass

>He doesn't know most of Napoleon's allies, the German ones, left after Leipzig.
Ah. So you're completely illiterate in history. Got it.
>>
>>18108153
But japan and italy fought till death so Napoleon technically didn't have good allies. Plus Hitler controlled Balkans, Napoleon didn't

Napoleon dropped his civil code like an anvil on every country he conquered, still in use today. Compare that legacy to Shitler who ruined nationalism as an ideology for the rest of the century.
>>
>>18107250
He absolutely didnt, napoleon legal systems last to this very day. Every modern western country was influenced by him.

You just said words.
Hitler today is far more relevant than Napoleon.
>>
>>18107164
Napoleon had a fraction of the technology Hitler had.
>>

>Hitler today is far more relevant
He isnt though? Maybe as a boogeyman. Napoleans civl law systems however are used today worldwide, Hitler sure as hell doesnt have that kind of claim.
>>
>>18108377
Relevant to virgins arguing on the Internet maybe. Meanwhile Bonaparte's legacy changed Western civilization.

Hitler had the advantage of working with everything that came after Napoleon.

>There were seven major coalitions against Napoleon, but he won the first five, and the Sixth and Seventh Coalitions were ultimately successful in defeating him. Napoleon's initial dominance is shown by his victories in the First through Fifth Coalitions, but his invasion of Russia in 1812 weakened his empire and led to his defeat by the Sixth Coalition in 1813.
He fought against all the great powers of his time, as well as many others.
Most of the other famous conquerors fought against declining powers, barbarians, and small nobody kingdoms

Caesar defeated other Romans, almost always at a disadvantage. Caesar is the GOAT.
>>
>>18107845
Actually Hitler lost two wars
