No it fucking didn’t. Up until Theodosian outlawed paganism, Christians made up only 10% of the empire’s population and were at best a loud minority (kinda like black people in modern America are).
Christians didn’t become a majority until Theodosian outlawed pagan practices and forcibly closed or converted temples, destroyed pagan shrines, etc.
In the eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East, traditional cults (Greek, Egyptian, Mesopotamian) largely disappeared under violence and social pressure by the 5th 6th centuries.
The Olympic Games were abolished in 394 CE since these were linked to the worship of Zeus.
Emperor Justinian ordered the closure of the Neoplatonic Academy in Athens, effectively extinguishing one of the last centers of pagan philosophy.
