The whole "a single viking held the bridge against the entire Anglo-Saxon army and killed 40 men with an axe!!!" story is complete bullshit. This straight up just didn't happen, the only "account" of it was written 200 years later with a ton of other lies we now know to be false (for example they write that the anglo-saxon huscarls "rode into battle" when they didn't ride horses).
