how will they be remembered?
are those ICE officers on the left? they look like mexican drug cartel members
I’m sorry, but you simply must go back.

>>18114761
>>18114740Probably as pariahs once the next admin or some whistleblower leaks their personnel files. I still don’t get the faggy little mask thing they’re doing. It isn’t like their IDs aren’t on record.
>>18115284The LAPD is about to collapse due to doj immigration lawsuit and outright treason and conflict with federal government over immigration.
>>18115287Your definition of treason seems pretty loose. Either way, the DOJ performative harassment stuff won’t likely alter anything other than wasting time and money. There’s no federal mechanism to compel local assistance in these instances outside of some pretty specific situations.
>>18115297But if the LAPD extends to actively hiring illegals and using them to attack citizens on behalf of cartels that starts to become treason.
>>18115298That sounds like something that isn’t real. Unless it’s some personal thing where some crooked cop was dipping into the evidence locker to get drugs and reselling them, maybe hired a couple of goons to beat up a rival pusher. That kind of thing has happened before. Though that’s corruption, assault, and conspiracy, not treason.
>>18115305But the LAPD isn't that big. 50% of the LAPD is already illegal immigrants. The downtown courthouse area division is like 1000 officers left. 90% are boomers. So the LAPD has an effective force of like 100 people so losing any leadership there is pretty much end for any basis they have.
>>18115307>But the LAPD isn't that big. It's literally the third largest police force in the United States
>>18115307Do you live in the region? Point is whatever media you’re consuming is telling you stuff that seems counter factual. There may well be a lawsuit about police corruption, but that tends to be shit where some bent cop is doing bent cop stuff. I’m not sure where you get the idea that losing leadership means they’ll cease to be a police entity though. The relevant authority will just hire someone new.
>>18115322But it will not be a blond police officer. None exist.
>>18115317See, this is more what I was expecting, they’re a major police force. I did a search and I’m not finding anything on a recent DOJ lawsuit against the LAPD.
>>18115325You must be in Israel then and your results are jewed.
>>18115324So you’re saying the DOJ is going to sue the LAPD because of a lack of blondes? I mean I like a nice bimbo in uniform as much as the next guy but I’m pretty sure this doesn’t mean they’re defunct as an organization.
>>18115328US, but sure, go ahead and link me to where this lawsuit is being filed. I’m curious to know what the grounds are. The feds can’t really compel much local cooperation behind very specific cases and so unless there was corruption in a manner that violates federal law, there’s not a lot to go on.
>>18115333It's extremely predictable case just about sanctuary policies. Wasted trip.
>>18115337Sanctuary cities aren’t illegal though. They’re just refusing to use local resources to enforce federal law. The feds can go and enforce the laws if they want but the locals aren’t required to do their jobs for them. For example Oregon has been a sanctuary state since 1987. It’s not a new thing.
>>18115339They are illegal, if they accept federal funds and doj writes conditions for the funds. If they stopped accepting funds then issue would move to LAPD actively funding and assisting foreign cartels etc.
>>18115341That’s also not true. The DOJ can attempt to leverage funding, but it’s not illegal for a city or state to refuse to do the DOJs job for them. Beyond that, how is the LAPD funding cartels? Do you have an article on this?
>>18115343I have the address and I know the specific location they arrest at for trolling cartels. It's easy to create a test case and will fall apart in a few months.
>>18115345Okay. I think I found what you are on about. The DOJ is threatening to pull federal funding from jurisdictions that don’t support them haranguing their people, and the LAPD is threatening to sue the DOJ over it if they do. Since their argument is there’s nothing in the law that says they’re required to do ICE’s job for them and that they’re entitled to the funds under federal legislation.
>>18115350I already said everything so you're wrong but whatever.
>>18115351No, I think you’re very confused about how federal, state, and local laws work. It’s a common thing. I’ve seen this whole ‘sanctuary cities are illegal’ thing for a while. You might not like them but they’re not illegal. Local autonomy is a key part of the republic.
>>18115358You lied when you said doj doesn't write conditions. It does. So they decide everything.
>>18115330don't bother, its a guy larping as the GDP schizo
>>18115359No, they can TRY to write conditions. The lawsuit will determine if the legislation allows for that or not.>>18115360Oh. Fucking hell. Shit really grinds my autism. Thanks.
>>18115362It already did in 2019. This is just a specific lawsuit against LAPD. There is literally no reason the doj can't pull funding tomorrow except that due to the shutdown it was already pulled and the LAPD is embezzling funds so it is completely outside any legal process and the lawsuit can only be a wrist slap.
>>18115284There's a higher level of plausible deniability. If they're filmed tear gassing a neighborhood with their face showing, they're fucked. If their name is on some leaked personnel file 2 years from now, they can say they were uninvolved in any incidents or were just doing clerical work
Ice is based. deport shitskins
