It's a grievous sin for women to engage in pre-marital sex but it's only a minor sin for men. This is because men don't pair-bond in the same way and women expect men to be experienced, even screwing them over if they're naive virgins. There is no concern with a man having sexual experience while there is concern about a woman having it. This is also because of the preexisting masculine and feminine archetypes which were there before the creation of biological sex as we know it.
