now, I'm having a hard time finding a good ballistic drop chart for m43, but from what I can gather shooting at someone at normal combat engagement distances with the 1,000 meters setting would put the bullet somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 yards high from where you were aiming unless the enemy was extremely close. I think even best case scenario it's still like 2 and a half yards high unless you are within 100 yards
