A King would have negotiated a surrender to save his people or would have killed himself an year earlier and deputized someone else to negotiate peace on his behalf to save his people.

He didnt care for his people. He wanted them all to die alongside him. I dont know why anyone worships him. He should have killed himself in January 1945 at least and saved at least few of his people.
