The thing that makes the continued existence of Christianity particularly upsetting, is that it is so obviously wrong, that it having any followers implies that there are millions of people who enjoy malevolently lying to others.
>>
People don’t hate Christianity because it’s strict or boring—they hate it because it’s evil, and they often don’t even realize why until much later. Those raised inside it—whether through family or culture—carry a vague, aching sense that something’s wrong. The guilt feels manufactured, the obedience unnatural, the “love” conditional and manipulative. It wraps itself in words like grace and salvation, but it’s really a psychological cage: obey or burn, believe or be broken. From birth, you're told you're filthy, unworthy, in debt to a god who demands blood, and they call this good news. That low hum of unease people feel in Christian households isn’t random—it’s the sound of spiritual abuse normalized over centuries.

And when you finally look at history, the mask falls off completely. You see crusades drenched in blood, inquisitions torturing dissenters, empires using the cross as a flag for genocide. You see pedophiles protected, cultures annihilated, and entire populations gaslit into thinking it was holy. Christianity didn’t civilize the world—it spiritually colonized it, replaced vibrant traditions with death cult dogma, and taught people to love their chains. The deeper people dig, the more they realize that sick feeling they had growing up wasn’t rebellion—it was clarity trying to survive. They don’t hate it for no reason. They hate it because it was always a lie, wrapped in threats and delivered by smiling monsters.

Those who see the light have realized the true religion, but sadly most people are instead worshiping devils in hell and hoping that when they die they will get rewarded.

They dont consciously lie. It works at a subconscious level.
Of course rhere are grifter priests and pastors who enrich themselves, but most people spreading it are just stupid.
Its just unconscious evil.
My theory is that this type of evil is like..vulcanoes erupting, earthquackes etc. Its unnecesary evil which exists in nature.

There's a difference between being an atheist and seeing YHWH as wicked and repugnant. I am in the latter category.
>>
I remember being young, edgy and needing to sound profound to myself. Luckily for me I scapegoated much smaller things in my worldview. So my blame game fell apart much earlier than this one >>18128297 will. Good luck to you. This can genuinely ruin your mind.
>>
>>18128340
Your life experience is different from other peoples life experiences. I'm happy for you that yours is simple enough that you can live contentedly asleep.
>>
>>18128325
Have you ever considered what went wrong in your life to make you enjoy lying?
>>18128327
Nah, that's a possibility I've considered but to actually fall for Christianity you'd need to be so extremely stupid I doubt you could even use a computer or even write. And the thing is, the Bible does say things like followers (Whether this is just apostles or all Christians is admittedly debatable.) being able to drink poison and be fine, yet I don't see Christians drink poison daily, so they must know it's false.

These christcucks are trauma survivors pretending to be crusaders. They got absolutely skullfucked by Reddit-tier atheism a decade ago and never recovered—just slapped trad aesthetics and schizo memes over the psychic wreckage and called it a comeback. It’s not faith, it’s shell shock. Their whole online existence is a cry for help disguised as smug detachment. They didn’t outgrow the New Atheist era—they froze in it. Their identity is a scar tissue reaction to being publicly humiliated, intellectually pantsed, and laughed out of every debate by midwit redditors with neckbeards. And the worst part? They know they lost. That’s why they keep flailing—because accepting that would mean admitting they were never chosen, never wise, never anything but indoctrinated NPCs.

So they wage war on ghosts. Still posting basedjak "epic own" memes aimed at enemies that don’t even exist anymore, screaming at a version of atheism that died with rage comics and fedoras. They swing recycled arguments like rusty swords, desperate to rewrite the past where they got folded and forgotten. Their theology is rotted, their arguments are duct-taped cope, and their smug superiority is just panic with a smug filter. Every meme is a nervous tic. Every post is an echo of “please don’t humiliate me again.” It’s not a religion—it’s a psych ward running a LARP server. And the punchline is they think it’s powerful. They’re not soldiers of God. They’re broken toys, spinning in circles, still hearing voices from 2012.

So, any attempt at actually addressing the OP, or just effeminate remarks?
>>
>>18128297
The story of Jesus is made up. He must have led an uprising against money changers.
>>
>>18128349
I am afraid there is something far more evil at play here. They could just, you know, stop being Christians if it was so embarrassing and they just had trauma, but to me it seems that they take joy in being able to lie to others. And the more nonsensical the lie the more pleasure they take in being able to con people to believe it.
>>
>>18128357
OP is venting to strangers. It doesn't get much more effeminate than that. All we can say is good luck, because primitive points like these obviously take a lot of mental energy to maintain. He will burn out sooner or later.
>>
>>18128349

>>
>>18128347
>Christian telling on himself again
I'm just telling you what I see happening.
>>
>>18128377
I have no doubt. Scapegoating is so mentally attractive people will sacrifice the unthinkable to maintain the vision.
Observe whatever it is you see. The picture will fall apart sooner or later.
>>
How is it wrong?

Christian apologetics are super strong, from a historical and logical perspective.
>>
>>18128370
>Being open is effeminate
You really are a hollow shell of a human being. Is this really what happens to all Christians, Yahweh rapes their souls so completely that you're just left with a flesh golem?
>>
>>18128390
Ockham's razor probably is the strongest argument. Quite a coincidence that Christianity just so happens to emerge just after the destruction of the jewish temple and it just so happens to conveniently solve all the theological problems that Judaism would face from the Temple's destruction.
>>
>>18128393
Openness without vulnerability is a posing performance. If you must lie to yourself about the history of humanity, so be it, but don't lie to yourself about your own motivations. You're venting. And that's fine. People come here for various purposes and this one is by no means the worst. But don't be patting yourself on the back for anonymously spewing your headcanon to strangers who will never hold you actually accountable.

Noticing an emotionally disturbing fact isn't necessarily venting even if it's similar, as hopefully other anons will get the similar feeling of unease.

Cool! Within 30 seconds of waking up in Hell you will desperately wish that you had never been born and beg for annihilation. But it will never come.
>I will never be a slave.
Yes, you will. You will have zero freedom in the confines of your unbearable agony. Trapped, forever, 100% against your will.
>You will never make me love him or grovel before him.
Small problem: Every knee WILL bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I can't wait to see the torture the angels need to inflict on you to get that to happen, if you're as stubborn as you claim. My guess, though, is that you'll break easily. Either way, have fun burning. :)
>>
>>18128450
I assume based on your darvo replies that you're a Christian, so that's a lie. Also I am not interested in even entertaining the idea of Christianity not being a lie, since it has been debunked in a million ways already.
>>

Why do you enjoy lying to others?

Thanks for putting it this explicitly. For future reference, this is called venting.
Have a good one Anon, and again (genuinely) good luck. It's not going to be pleasant.
>>
>>18128462
Stating a fact is not venting. I assume you're making these lies since you in general enjoy lying to others.
>>
>Stating a fact is not venting.
>>
>>18128451
So you don't see any contradiction between your god supposedly being completely good and the embodiment of love, and him sending people to burn in a lake of fire for eternity for the crime of not believing in him?

>He can use a computer from which it follows he's not actually dumb enough to believe in hell. Note, practically all Christians living in countries with potable tap water are like that.

So they're just evil and enjoy lying to people?
>>
>>18128537
Unfortunately that is the only logical explanation, or the slightly more charitable interpretation that they have monetary incentive to lie. I assume there must be some mutation which causes them to have a warm buzz every time they trick someone with their lies, since I at least hope, normal people feel bad if they lie.
>>
>>18128509
>If you're old enough to use this site you know those apologetics are full of nonsense. I will not let you derail the thread. You know Christianity is a lie, and I know you know.

It's logically coherent from a formal logic and historical standpoint, as well as more pragmatically from a meaning standpoint.

>>18128472
NTA but there are different takes on hell, the burning in hell being poked by an evil red "devil" is from Dharmic religions, see Naraka. I subscribe to annihilationism.

1. Circular reasoning – It claims the Bible is true because it’s the word of God, and we know it’s the word of God because the Bible says so.

2. Appeal to authority – It demands belief because ancient men or divine figures said so, not because evidence supports it.

3. False dichotomy – It frames reality as “believe or burn,” ignoring infinite other explanations for existence and morality.

4. Ad hoc reasoning – Every failed prophecy or moral contradiction is explained away with “God works in mysterious ways.”

5. Strawman – It reduces non-believers to “rebels against God” instead of people who simply see no evidence.

6. Appeal to emotion – It manipulates fear of hell and desire for eternal love to override critical thought.

7. Post hoc fallacy – It assumes good events are “blessings” and bad ones are “tests” without causal proof.

8. Slippery slope – It warns that without faith society will collapse into chaos, ignoring secular stability and progress.

9. No true Scotsman – It excuses every Christian atrocity by saying “they weren’t real Christians.”

10. Begging the question – It assumes sin and salvation are real just to prove the need for Christ.

11. Tu quoque – It deflects criticism by pointing to the sins of atheists or other belief systems.

12. Appeal to ignorance – It treats gaps in science or understanding as evidence of God.

13. Loaded question – It asks “why do you hate God?” presuming God exists and is hateable.

14. Bandwagon fallacy – It implies truth through popularity: billions believe, therefore it must be true.

15. Appeal to tradition – It insists Christianity is true because it’s old, not because it’s rational.

You know that Jesus is most likely a fictional creation, and even if real he got dumped into a mass grave. That little evil part of your brain which gets a buzz from lying to others must get a nice jolt from every time you blurt out a lie like that since it lets you mask your lies with nice sounding language.
>>
>>18129628
What's your explanation for this strange behavior of defending obvious lies?
>>
>>18130113
>lies

If every dingle Christian (even new converts) knew these were lies, why keep it up?
The purpose of a lie is to pass up as truth, yes? If so, the lies aren't obvious to everyone. If you see them, why not point them out to the ones who don't?
>>
Life after death of the body is a lie and based on misrepresentations of Bible verses which do not support the idea if read properly. But the idea is useful if you goal is to convince a population to suffer through a miserable life.

People would be less likely to throwaway their existence for someone else's benefit if they understood that this is their only shot at life and that doing so isn't what God wants for his people.
>>
>>18130975
>why keep it up?
That's what I'm trying to understand. Why would a large number of people knowingly lie to each other for decades?
>>
>>18131275
It was rhetoric. That's obviously untenable. At least the new converts would truly believe the lies. And as seen above, there are anons that don't see the lies, including me. Please do point them out, so at least there is one less believer of the lies (me).
