Jews who are not dishonest will readily admit that we are not sure about the exact number of people who died in the Holocaust. The number of Jews who died may have been anywhere between 5 and 7 million, and 6 million is just a rough average or estimate based on both the pre-war and post-war global Jewish population. Even though the Nazis did keep track of valuable items they seized from Jewish interns, they did not actually keep track of every single ill or dead Jewish or Romani or homosexual person who arrived at every single concentration camp run by the Nazis and their collaborators all throughout Europe. Many of the concentration camps and train lines going towards them had such deplorable conditions that they would make present-day ICE detainment centers look like a health resort in comparison.People don't like to admit this, but yes, the Germans really were not as obsessively systematic in documenting their atrocities as Holocaust historians wished they had been so as to make their job easier.

Even if 0 Jews died in the Holocaust, they were not the only victims, and it's believed 11 million people died in total when you include Slavs, Romani, and "Life Unworthy of Life" under eugenics programs etc etc, so you'd still have to account for 5 million other victims anyways. Splitting hairs over how severe the holocaust was is one of the worst forms of Hitler apologia.

I admit that Nazis commited many atrocities, but they did not make a perfect record of every single atrocity they commited, every single old person or baby they killed, every single person they deported from the USSR to Germany, or every single ghetto they destroyed. There were many countries where they massacred people indeed and there is plenty of evidence of killings by Nazis, but it was never actually compiled by themselves into a single massive book that we can cite as an absolute and undisputable authority on every single Jew, Romani, Jehova's Witness, homosexual, communist, and Polish partisan interned, starved to death, and/or killed by the Nazis and their collaborators.I do not deny that the Holocaust happened nor do I celebrate it either, but I do not believe we have an exact count on the number of people who died because of it. Was it 9 million in total? 12 million? We do not know for certain. It was very likely well above the 330k estimate that Holocaust deniers try to claim it as, but we cannot say for certain whether it was 11,238,621 or 11,238,620 or 11,238,622, or anything beyond a rough estimate that is roughly 20% within what may be the right amount.
