Why do the Orthodox insist on kissing men on the lips and claim they aren't gay? Why are Popes willing to endure this when you can tell they find it uncomfortable and weird?
>>

Nothing gay about a few Catholicks between bros
>>
>>18132677
Their church teaches love and compassion for gay people.
>>
>>18132677
It's a cultural thing of the past, nothing evil by itself, much like other customs like men sleeping on the same bed to keep themselves warm during winter. It's only when the spirit of sodomy takes over a person that they start seeing sodomy everywhere.

Of course the heads of these demon churches are all fags, but not because of the kiss.
>>
>>18132677
The idea that kissing someone on the mouth is sexy is a cultural creation you have bought in to. Medieval kings used to seal vassalage contracts by kissing their vassal on the mouth.

>the version of Christianity that has kissing men and pictures of men as a mandatory part of it's practice insists it isn't gay
Kek.

Its become gay since then.

I don't know if that's an Ortho tradition but the patriarch Bartholemew is compromised as he works for CIA.

QRD on when being gay became gay?!?

Why are Russians so insanely gay?

Schrodinger's glownigger
>>

Was he for or against homosexuality? If he was Russian he was secretly gay but openly against homosexuality; if he was CIA he was secretly straight but openly for homosexuality.
>>
>>18134952
He has statements against legalizing homosexual marriage and has condemned "gay life". In all seriousness the questionable things regarding Bartholemew are him pushing globalist and ecumenist ideas from what I've heard.
>>
>>18134962
>he is antigay
Why does he kiss men on the lips then?

>>18132694
isn't it a roman thing (like gay became)?
>>
>>18135926
I believe the Greeks were the gayest in ancient times. As the Romans seemed to think so. However I am not sure if the Anatolians were gayer.
>>
>>18135956
thats why i said "like gay(ness) became". their contact with Greeks definitely increased their zestomitor, as decadence tends to do.
>>
>>18135962
I wonder if the Greek alphabet spreads gayness? The Cyrillic Slavs are infinitely more into gay rape than the Latin alphabet Slavs.

Romans and gayreeks lived their bussy, but kissing on the mouth was not exclusively a romantic signifier. As I already said above, kings sealed contracts with a kiss, although I assume it didn't involve tongue or anything. Read medieval poetry and you'll find female characters explicitly using the language of vassalage contract as innuendo.

What, in the name of sexy loincloth Jesus, is gay about kissing your bros on the mouth?

Church father quote on Jesus kissing the boy?!?

How is everything Russian somehow weirdly gay? It's like they take something not gay, that is an organization overtly against being gay, and make latent homosexuality a major part of it? What causes this???

You need to understand everything is gay until proven fake, then it becomes gay and fake
>>
>>18137374
Is Orthodoxy merely gay or is it also fake?
>>
>>18136552
When did kissing men become gay?
>>
>>18137699
I'm honestly not sure. There's probably someone out there who has done a comprehensive study on kissing. Akkadian love magic references sweet mouths a lot, so I imagine there's always been sexual ways to kiss someone, but the appropriation of male contractual kissing by the female characters in medieval English poetry suggests to me that at least at late as the composition of things like the Breton lays men were kissing each other in the legal context while girls where looking on going "omg I wish I were the king so I could kiss hot knights". I'm not sure I remember seeing boykissing on greek vases or anything so maybe they weren't in to it, although I might just not have seen them.
>>
>>18137914
What if was always gay and the past was simply gayer, with the gay genes dying out over time?
>>
>>18132677
Me on the right.
>>
>>18137699
This. It's gay only when you enjoy it.
>>
>>18132677
If it doesn't involve the sexual organs and isn't romantic then it's not a homosexual act.
>>
>>18138203
So why does the Orthodox guy look like he is enjoying it?
>>
>>18138380
I get it. You are paid to run an anti-orthodox thread. You try too hard.
>>
>>18138410
Why do you kiss men and pictures of them? Are you gay?
>>
>>18137699
It happens in cycles but it's always technological advancement from the perspective of the one doing it.

>men range far from home cave -> invention of homosexuality because me want coom
>settle into village life -> invention of homophobia accompanies monogamy, obviously women are better if you have to choose

>civilization and philosophy created -> homosexuality rediscovered and liberated
>populations climb in Europe and near east -> homophobia rediscovered to prevent feuds

>population explodes, sex becomes a refined art, germanic culture takes over -> golden age of homophobia
>civilization and philosophy rediscovered -> homosexuality returns to intellectual circles

>socialism and nationalism take over -> homosexuality seen as counterrevolutionary
>decadence and postwar -> massive gay liberation

>modern day -> porno makes it obvious sexuality is friable, go back to brass tacks like sex and reproduction
I'm sure in the near future we'll have a completely new and wild definition of what is gay.
>>
>>18138495
But why are Orthodox so gay when they are also homophobic? Your system doesn't seem to explain them.
>>
>>18138571
It makes sense if not everyone moves at the same rate. Everybody enjoyed life the whole time so none of it is bad per se, you don't have to change. The orthodox are multiple cycles back in a medieval setting that doesn't have sexuality, only sex and a touch of gender. Homosexual behavior is a different sin to them than being gay is to us, so being affectionate to men isn't included because it's not enumerated in the bible, quite the opposite. The bible is a document intended to convince extremely barbaric frontier chieftans to follow rules and be sociable.
>>
>>18138612
So in the middle ages men kissed each other on the lips?
>>
>>18138638
Not sure. I think with close friends and family it wasn't unusual. This is during the golden age of homophobia I described, they also thought only biblical homosexuality was gay
>>
>>18138638
The real takeaway is the modern day is better, despite all the madness people have a better understanding of themselves and the world. Back then people didn't YET know male affection was gay, it is. These things have to be learned by civilization. Sexuality isn't genetic that doesn't even make any sense. Specific behaviors aren't genetic unless you're combining genetic material to create a new genome, they're cultural.
>>
>>18138651
>>18138673
If gay is contagious is it spread by kissing? I just find it odd that gayness seemed to be a latent threat in the past, while now only a few percent of men are homosexual. Does kissing spread homosexuality?
>>
>>18138691
All of that low level affection is a pathway to homosexuality that wasn't an issue in various premodern societies. Perhaps the natural state of humanity is a lazier approach. The modern world is challenging because a high population of people creates the mouse utopia effect of competition and higher socialization. You go from a normal human being who looks like a negrito, fitting perfectly into the actual earth and nature, to something that looks like the Aeon Flux guy drew it. In that environment everything is more highly charged, men can no longer attach themselves emotionally at random, or events can spiral into a neurotic crisis and deadly feud. Over sex! It's smarter just to avoid random homosexuality.
>>
>>18132677
Why did jesus let Judas kiss him? Pretty fucking gay.
>>
>>18138710
So by kissing men and pictures of men you slowly become gayer and gayer? This being the cause of why most ancient people inexplicably seemed to do gay stuff?
>>
>>18139611
That's correct. Women are gayer than men because they show attraction more liberally to each other. People in the past were free to love whoever they wanted if it didn't rise to the level of sin, the modern person would be in a gay blood feud if they did that. Just another example of how the past was boring but had more soul.
>>
>>18139824
So would living according to the philosophy of Dostoevsky make us gay?
