>>18175790I have the theory that islam was originally planned as a pan arab or pan semitic movement something like judaism/talmudism for arabs or judaism/talmudism for semites (including arabs, arameans, yemenites maybe even jews). Despite the anti-jewish passages in the quran the umayyads were very friendly towards the jews and let them rule in Palestine. Then the abbasids took over through the help of non-arabs/non-semites like the persians and made islam more universal. The anti-racism parts of islam came from the hadiths and the hadiths were written under the abbasids. Arabic was kept as the language of the quran but the elite of most non-arab/non-arabized regions switched to speaking persian.
