How is it possible that south america countries (mainly Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay) seemed like European territories in the 1920s and 30s, but today they're a shithole (brownies paradise)? I think it's a clear case of jewish intervention.
>>18175176The Monroe Doctrine systematic stopped any developement in LA to avoid the rise of any country that could dare to break free from the USA vassalage

Brazil excepted these countries aren't any less European now than they were in the 1900s, they're just shitholes now. A very brief explanation for this is the economies of these countries were highly if not solely dependent on agricultural exports to Europe. They were then hit with the great depression, which depreciated the price of this food massively, the world wars, which cut off much of their market, and the invention of chemical fertilisers, which made Europe more agriculturally self sufficient. They then fell into a spiral of incompetent populists and dictators and their economies still are yet to recover.

>>18175176capital cities looked european because they had recently received boatloads of europeans and the rurals were still doing rural stuff. The mass migration to the cities began around the 50s
>>18175321>the world wars, which cut off much of their market,Not really, south america made solid profits during the wars. My grandpa used to say "we tied dogs with sausages" and things like that.

>>181751761. Panama Canal (mentioned already) 2. rural migration into big cities3. failure/late to industrialize4. paralyzed, isolated, and arrogant upper class that was completely incapable of dealing with modernitygreat example is Brasil's government being literally rounded up, shot and a military junta happening because the country had run out of money, too many people had flooded into rio, there wasn't enough products for anyone and the socialists in control were still thinking they could be a third way between US and USSR without nuclear energy or nuclear weapons
There are streets that do look like this doe. The favelas are a result of poor people from the rural areas being forced to move en masse to urban areas.
