That's a good question. Christianity shouldn't be a problem, because Ba'ath was literally founded by a Christian and Christians have always been overrepresented among secular Arab nationalists.
However, as far as I know, the Maltese don't identify as Arabs and don't have much contact with them.
Have any Arab nationalists ever claimed Malta as part of the Arab world?
