Of all the people in the Nazi Party and government, who would have been a better leader than Hitler and been able to change the outcome of WW2?

Ribbentrop

All of Hitler's subordinates worshipped him which suggests they were significantly dumber than he was. Stop making the same stupid thread over and over

Assuming hitlers killed in some assassination early on in the war, but after the invasion of France and the Dunkirk evacuation.

I’d say Reinhard Heydrich would have made the best possible fuhrer.

His administration of the essential territory of the acquired Czech lands was so efficient in upping production (and without having to resort to normal nazi terror shit) that it was a genuine problem. This is why he was the only western sanctioned assassination during the war

Obviously he’s hardly going to be able to micromanage all of Germany and its new territories in this manner. But the man had a solid grasp of what was feasible. What was required and how to do it.

Plus he was viable as a political figure which many of the other high ranking Nazis simply were not.

Under Heydrich I can see the war being prolonged. Not declaring war on the US. Making the eastern conflict less haphazard and more focused on extraction of resources than focusing on the extermination of peoples just for pragmatism.

End result would be Germany doesnt “win”. But negotiates a favourable treaty. They’ve gained territory. Southern Italy still falls but northern Italy is now basically a protectorate of the reich. Much of Eastern Europe also like this. France is free except for the return of Alsace Lorraine

How long this would actually last before they break apart or are attacked by the Soviets? No idea. My guess is America would supply them up the wazoo and they attack them around 1953 retaking most of their territory.
