>>18222681The ones who try to be rational claim that the bible is, while divinely inspired, still written by regular people shaped by the time they lived in. In that respect, they claim that sure, some jews in some times may have worshipped God as if he were one pagan deity among many, but that doesn't mean anything since those texts were still written by fallible people. Some also claim that God referring to himself as "we" in genesis is proof of the Trinity rather than a relic of poly/henotheism.
