Is Maryland and Virginia historically Dixie or New England? Seems like a contested region. Also this could be a thread for general geography/border dispute stuff.

Virginia is too prosperous and civilized to be part of the South in the modern day.
>>
Outside NorVa it very much is the South.

>New England
Are you retarded? New England is everything east of New York. You mean to ask if it is Southern or Northern you dumb jeet.

Virginia still has the mark of the South - high nigger population inflating the crime rates.

Contested between Dixie and... New England?
>>
People from New England = Yankees
NY's basedball team = Yankees
ergo, New England extends to at least Jersey, arguably DC

It's simple.
To foreigners, a Yankee is an American.
To Americans, a Yankee is a Northerner.
To Northerners, a Yankee is an Easterner.
To Easterners, a Yankee is a New Englander.
To New Englanders, a Yankee is a Vermonter.
And in Vermont, a Yankee is somebody who eats pie for breakfast.

I used to live in northern DE and people directly across the border in MD were very much northern in culture. But at the bottom of DE and further south in MD, they were very much southern. They are indeed contested/transitional states.
