>northern europe didn't have written language until the romans
>while [some other civ] did
Why do retards keep saying this?

Sumeria was the first to have written language, yet the people living there today have an IQ of 82, are highly inbred and rape kids following in the example of their prophet Muhammad when he "consummated" his marriage to Aisha when she was 9. From this it should be obvious that basic tech like writing which naturally arises with intensive farming and dense populations with cities and trade which in turn depends on geography and the gradual development of new breeds of crops and cattle and agricultural practices, has little bearing on the superiority or inferiority of civilizations or races.

Rather we should look to what races accomplish after they achieve intensive agriculture and enter the iron age or thereabouts. We see when Indo-Europeans migrated to the Mediterranean we get the Greeks with their mathematics and science and the Romans with their high civilization. When the heavy plow opened up northern Europe to intensive agriculture, within just a few centuries they had begun the scientific and industrial revolution that would change the world and lift billions from poverty.

Meanwhile China, India and the middle east boast about their 5000 year history oblivious to what this actually suggests about them.

When you say one people's accomplishments are just the result of geography the implication is that this applies in part or full everywhere, you can't really have it both ways.

It applies in part then. There were differences in geography of course, but it only explains things in part. China had enough resources to support Chinese "scholars" opining on the natural world and philosophy for millennia, yet not one thought of an Archimedean screw or a formal system of mathematics or solved the problems Euclid managed. It is actually rather astonishing if you consider you only need one Euclid and it's done. It is as though the Chinese were genetically incapable of producing such a man.
