GBP, large formation infantry subdoctrine, fire concentration sub doctrine if you want line artillery, armored spearhead for armor doctrine, I think its called Grand assault for the operational doctrine.

They reworked doctrines, infantry is much more viable.
CAS is now extremely powerful, a single CAS airwing can do 50+ org and hp damage on a 2 day battle.
They either buffed CAS or removed the CAS damage reduction from AA.

Meta doctrine is 40 width, half amtrac marines, half medium tanks, 1 tank destroyer company with maximum armor.
They redid Breakthrough and you can not have enough breakthrough now. I am not exactly sure how it works but extra breakthrough now helps in attacking as opposed to being useless if it exceeded the enemies attack.

Mountainers are infantry, Amtrac Marines are Mechanized, AMarines have increased hardness, breakthrough, and attack, and they completely negate the amphibious penalties of armor meaning you dont need to look for bridges or breaks in rivers, you can roll forward completely ignoring rivers, this is especially strong for Barb because the Soviet Meta is to stack forts (which marines get a bonus against) and 200+ division fallback lines along the Dnieper and Volga rivers, AMarines have 12 speed as well which means you can zoom around while Mountaineers have 4km speed, which drags down the speed for the entire division.
90% of games are decided by Germany vs the USSR, AMarines make it possible to break the Dnieper line and rush to the Volga line.
Otherwise you get stuck in 'low supply' Belarus/Ukraine and the Soviets grind you while the Americans and Brits swarm you with aircraft and mass naval invasions.
You take the Volga and the Soviets are out, theyre hit hard for manpower, lack airfields, supply hubs, steel, and coal, they also take max attrition in that region between the Gorky rail line and the Urals.


Mountaineers are irrelevant now due to Rangers having similar stats for mountains and much better stats in forest.
