Almost all Protestant churches in America, including some Roman Catholic parishes and others have embraced the CCM, or Contemporary Christian Music phenomenon. What influences led to the mass embrace of this trend? Why do so many people just equate the act of worship to listening to or singing to CCM music, now?

It’s quite simple, really. Christianity is largely a Roman mystery cult. It’s built on a system of state-religion, governed by priests, bishops and other state sanctioned intermediaries. These intermediaries strictly enforce the doctrines and doctrines, as did the emperors. For example, if one deviated from the doctrines and dogma, they would punish that person with violence.

This system provided a method of social cohesion, and worked quite well under both imperial and feudal society. In the modern age, there is less state authority, it is separate from the church, and the bishops and priests are unable to enforce the cult.

Without strict punishments, there is nothing to make the fundamentally incoherent doctrines viable as a method of control and cohesion. This is why the Protestant cults developed. It’s a free for all.

Since it’s a free for all, since the basis of these cults is incoherent, there is no particular reason to engage in a sacramental economy. There’s no need for this religion. So why do people engage in the simulation of religion? Feels. Identity. Social vibes.

Considering this, why wouldn’t they simply listen to pop music on Sunday? Makes them feel good. They don’t have religion and don’t exist in the mental landscape where religion is relevant.

Niether a rock concert nor a Ted Talk is worship. Maybe these types of services will draw people closer to Christ, but this stuff really pulls on people's heart strings and people get caught up in the emotionalism. Women in particular fall for this stuff a ton.
Merely venerating God is not worshiping Him. There needs to be sacrifice, but it's unlikely when people have been divorced from ascetic praxis for so long. Same thing with the liturgical life and sacramental life.
American Protestants seem to focus on finding the church which matches up with their personal truth over finding the Truth and submitting to it.

>It's not real Christianity if you don't pray to Mary
Fixed for you.

You need to be contemplating God every moment of every day or you are not giving your tithe to Him. You cannot simply go do rituals and forget Him

Don't confuse the Catholic adoption of contemporary music to an act of worship.

The central act of worship in the Catholic Church is the adoration and partaking of the eucharist.
Not singing or listening to music.

Baptists are to blame since a lot of these "churches" who play hill song as their form of worship came their congregation. Pentecostals and non-denom churches spawned from their retards which are what you're describing. I've never seen Catholic parishes have that kind of music, maybe a rare few? Never come across them in my experience.

Very much so. If a church doesn't fit to what you believe they'll just "church hop" until they find one that fits it. I've seen it happen a lot with people I knew who were/are prots.
