Ezekiel 32 describes Egypt going to the underworld as if it were a mortal entity. It goes further and mentions many other entire nations who already reside in there - again, as personified identities, not "the people of X" but rather "X is there". This is an acknowledgement at the existence of nations, and it goes a step further still - that nations are not mere human constructs, but are part of the human nature and spirit, and indeed possess a spirit in their own right. This is proof that different nations are indeed compatible with God, and that entire nations are judged by Him and not just individuals. A universal world will only be brought upon after the events of the Apocalypse, when God comes down to Earth and sin and death are vanquished. Until then, we must act in accordance with our nature and spirit, and work within different nations, with borders.
