what are some arguments against skepticism/solipsism? i know its worthless to think about but just for fun what are some sound arguments against it? how about this argument:if youre an extreme skepticist, how come you value certain stimuli more than others?example: you would much prefer to sit on the couch and relax than being raped in the assif certain stimuli motivates you internally then that implies you grant some validity to that stimuli and thus implying youre not truly a skepticist
It's not really an argument but a clarification that skepticism is subjective and an initiatory step of potentially understanding an observation. It in itself isn't reason or objective. You could be skeptical of something that is 99.99999...% factual while can't bring yourself to believe that it is factual because personal skepticism of said something.
