I can't help but come to the conclusion that Christianity and much of Christian tradition originates largely from Iranian religion and customs, be it Zoroastrian or Mithraic. Although one major exception would be Easter.

What are your thoughts?

A lot of those don't belong there and a lot of what is Iranicate in Christianity comes via Judaism. In that vein, see also the recent paper by Gad Barnea on the burning bush for one more truly Zoroastrian motif.

I was looking into Orthodoxy and they say Christianity is not dualistic, don't remember the theology though

Didn't Temple Judaism originate in the Persian empire? Cyrus was their gentile Messiah

Christianity asserts that it is the reassertion of the truth about the nature of God and its relationship with man, a truth that was present at the beginning but became confused and spread out among many diverging branching religions that had their genesis from one source.

What kind of christianity teaches that? Because OG christianity taught that Christianity was the truth and everything else was demon-adjacent

It is the Truth in which all truths are perfected, but obviously this does not apply to the impotent noahidism being paraded around these days as if that was "christianity"

>Khosrau Anushirawan commissioned Zoroastrian writings right before he planned to kidnap thousands of Christians from the Byzantine empire
>Sasanian empire was exposed to Christianity for centuries before said writings
>Present year we're still pretending that Zoroastrian was a precursor to anything.
