He literally saved Catholic Poland from being exterminated by the Nazis and yet he's remembered as a villain
>>
he didn't save Warsaw
>>
yeah that's typically what happens when you starve your own people to death
even picking trotsky's brain doesn't absolve him of that
>>

More and more people are waking up to the fact he was the good guy

He saved them from concentration by sending them all to gulag
>>
>>18242372
He helped the Nazis capture Poland in the first place by invading it (Molotov Ribbentrop Pact)

Also, when Britain and the US freed countries from the Nazis, they let them go free afterwards. USSR took their over and kept them. You don't celebrate your liberator if he enslaves you in turn.

Hahaha. And what would happen if any European countries voted to eject American military bases? Americans NGOs and embassies?
>>
>>18243151
Nobody in Europe wants to eject US bases or embassies though so this question is stupid.
>>

Stalin is the closest thing there is to a God
>>
>>18243151
And yet they have not done so, because the fucking Russians exist and constantly give damned good reasons to keep the yanks around.
>>
>>18243151
Like France?
>>

Saving P*land seems pretty fucking villainous to me.
>>
I think it should tell you something that the Nazis are less hated even after they put a rebellion down and ran ghettos
>>
He is a villain for not allowing nazis to get rid of poles
>>
He did fuck up by Stoping hitler from "gasing" the jews.
But he had a reedemption arc later on when he tried to stop them by sending them to siberia but then they killed him to via poisoning
>>

Just because he wasn't genocidal like Hitler doesn't mean he wasn't evil. The USSR didn't fight to "save" Poland, they fought to conquer Poland and force their vile ideology (communism)
