So how much did this really affect the overall genetics of the host countries ? It seems to me that the sudden arrival of more than 60k (non germanic) french people in a small country like the Netherlands should have had enormous consequences genetically on the long run but I can't find reliable source on this subject. Did the Dutch become more swarthy as result of this (largely southern french) immigration ?
>>
the Huguenots were predominantly Nordic and Germanic in origin, read Madison Grant

65k is nothing, it had little to no impact on Dutch genetics

LOL

All I know is that they were invited into Prussia to become the backbone of the Prussian bureaucracy

is this where french canadians and cajuns come from?
>>
>>18243576
No, they were Catholic French merchants and adventurers from the country's Atlantic coast who took native women once they arrived in Canada.
>>
>>18243576
No many of the ancestors of French Canadians come from Poitou but they explicitly selected families that were devoutly Catholic and loyal to the French monarchy, so basically the exact opposite of Huguenots.

Are you playing dumb, or are you naturally this stupid? The elite of those lands was traditionally Gothic. Those with Nordic blood were naturally more drawn to Protestantism, due to the drive for freedom and individualism inherent in Nordic man.

Ah yes, the notoriously protestant countries of
>France
>Spain
>Portugal
>Italy
>Poland
>>
>>18243572
No. They were quite successful in the emerging textile industry (an area where France felt their brain drain severely) and sometimes were given deliberate stimuli to operate textile manufacturing plants and related businesses in Prussia but the prussian bureaucracy was well developed by that point in time.

Genuinely peak 4chan retardation in this post lmao. I don't think anyone in Europe ever thought "hmmm did the Huguenots give me a tan?"
Intereuropean migration has been a thing since the Roman Empire, they probably already had a bunch of Italians and Gauls intermingling with locals on the Rhine and Danube frontiers. Hell, we've found DNA evidence of Eastern European(Sarmatian etc.) auxiliary troops in Roman Britannia.
Anyways no I don't think there was any notable genetic change, Berlin was absolutely flooded with Huguenot immigrants and nobody ever stereotyped Berliners as having any unique appearance

>pure Nordic blood
Hahahahahahaha
For starters it's mostly Irish and English Working Class blood, if anything. Secondly, there's a lot more Aboriginal and Maori blood intermixed there than you'd think. Aborignals have very regressive genes which get hidden by mixing with whites, but the trained expert Bogan can easily tell that someone like Heath Ledger has Aborignal blood

Ireland is choke full of Nordic DNA due to Viking settlements and centuries of trade, yet it remained 90%+ Catholic

Huguenots were mostly commoner bourgeoisie, not aristocracy.
Also the overwhelming majority of the elite in Roman Gaul carried on into the Frankish period and basically taught the Franks how to read and run shit lol
