God is not benevolent All logical evidence cements this statement as fact
>>18243872Mostly because he does not exist.
>>18243872If there was a god it would be. Instead there is the neutrality of random materials looking out for themselves and biological things having their own interests unrelated to the rocks, sea, air, sun, etc.
>>18243872The error is the assumption that if God is benevolent then by necessity He needs to demonstrate his benevolence to creation but this assumption violate the attribute; divine independence, and once thought through this assumption creates more problems than solves.
>>18243872>God is not benevolentYou're thinking about the formless and empty darkness that was in the beginning. God, by definition, is good.
>>18243872>tfw the autist confuses ...God doesn't do what I want... with ...God is not benevolent...All evidence? You mean the finite mindlet trying to comprehend infinite utility functions? Evil exists? Yeah, and so does free will. A padded room with no choices is safe but it's a prison.
>>18245193Free will does not exist, buddy. It has been disproved.
>>18243872History unfolds for a greater purpose.>I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.
>>18245214The universe is not a creation. Into the trash you go.
>>18245228It is though. It has a telos and its components change form according to strict laws.
>>18245236No, the universe is uncreated and eternal.>it has telosWhich is?
>>18245237>Uncreated and eternalThen why does it undergo change?
>>18245237Unity of being. A single form.
>>18245208I choose not to believe you.
>>18243872god is benevolent but not all powerful. human desire and action are controlled by humans who have the freedom of choice. choice means you can choose to do ungodly things. god isnt involved in ungodly things.
>>18243872Read the bible
If he was truly evil he wouldn't have give us the capacity to do conscious good.Like, god never said you couldn't copy heaven just that earth isn't.
>>18245441>>18245448but that isn't really a description of god as a supernatural entity. it's more like god as janitor of positive self models.
>>18245963>God is more like something that does exist than doesn't. Suit yourself. Just know rokos basilisk didn't create the world.
>>18245963>God is more like something that does exist than doesn't.Suit yourself. Just know rokos basilisk didn't create the world.
Man is born a lost sinner, an enemy of God. The whole world rests under condemnation, wrath, curse. If it didn't then it would mean that everything is fine and there isn't any problem, that's why life here is suffering, because the state of this world is meant to show us that we are not on good terms with God and that judgement is coming. If God maintained everything and made sure everything around is pretty, innocent and harmless, we wouldn't have any idea of the impending doom that is coming upon this kingdom of darkness.Jesus brought the solution. His death on the cross and His resurrection really means this: Any slave who looks to the cross in faith is allowed to count that death as his own death. He dies; Satan loses him.John 6:35-37 "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." Every religion other than Bible-believing Christianity are man-made and, pointless, they are just "religious" ideas, not historical realities. They have man as authority instead of the infallible word of God. The Bible is from God, so it makes no sense to ignore it and go to the teachings of corruptible men instead.Isaiah 41:21-24: "Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come. Shew the things that are to come here- after, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together. Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you."
Proof that the Bible is the word of God:fcbaptist.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Bible-proof.pdfhttps://truthischrist.com/seven/1 Corin 15:3-4: “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VRT2FFXntc1 John 5:7: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”Jesus Christ is God who has come in the flesh from heaven. He died as a sinless sacrifice for the sins of the whole world to save you from eternal hell, the punishment for your sin. He was buried, then resurrected and then ascended to heaven. John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 10:28: "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." Rom 10:9: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."God wants to forgive you, but you have a choice: Do you choose the righteousness of God by receiving Christ? Your own righteousness can NEVER justify you or keep you saved because of your sin. Rom 5:9: “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, in His finished blood atonement. The gift of salvation can't be earned. Confess The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in prayer, that you trust in Him and believe He atoned for your sins on the cross.Eph. 2:8-9: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

>>18243872God works from a moral algorithm so alien it looks like pure agony to us. The universe is a gigantic, recursive pain engine designed to forge a type of goodness impossible in a paradise. The proof? Our capacity to recognize the horror and choose kindness anyway. That's the target output. Not our happiness. Not our comfort. The raw, uncorrupted virtue that can only crystallize under maximum ethical pressure.
>>18246782Quran 5:116And ˹on Judgment Day˺ Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides Allah?” He will answer, “Glory be to You! How could I ever say what I had no right to say? If I had said such a thing, you would have certainly known it. You know what is ˹hidden˺ within me, but I do not know what is within You. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Knower of all unseen.
>>18243872I wasn't gonna believe you but then I spotted the word "logical" in your post and instantly I was compelled to consider your opinion to be objectively factual, with nothing but certainty. >>18245208Post study. Guaranteed it will not define free will in any philosophically exhaustive way.

This is particularly true when the text of the Quran contradicts the text of the Bible. The Muslim position is that the ‘same’ God (Allah) revealed the Bible and the Quran. Thus the Quran will never contradict the Bible, otherwise Allah would be contradicting himself. It is obvious that if Allah contradicted himself, he is not perfect. And if he is not perfect, then he cannot be God. If the Muslim rejects the Bible, he must also reject the Quran because it appeals to the Bible.
>>18245193This is so fucking dumbPeople can have free will, yet always chose the good There being no evil, does not somehow remove free will and take away people's ability to make meaningful moral choices.
