It has been proved that the mind is the brain and that ALL mental states, from emotions, qualitative experiences to visualization or linguistic thought, are brain states and functions of the brain. It has been proved that the brain is not an antenna that receives consciousness or something like that. It has been proved that consciousness is an epiphenomenon and that it has no causal power over the brain or mind. It has been proved that free will does not exist.Is adherence to dualism simply cope?
