You may not like it but this is what Greek perfection looks like.

Looks absolutely ridiculous. But I can't wait to see this.

The only good clothing design presented so far in this ugly-ass movie. It's not supposed to be period accurate but at least is interesting.

>The only good clothing design
It looks like it's made of plastic

>batman mask on top of warcraft footman
>too obvious? Cover the huge warcraft shoulderpads with a cape
>nailed it
Nolan is a hack
>>
>>18245292
Did they reused a Batman mask?

This movie doesn’t look that bad. I saw a five minute clip of the Trojan horse. It’s alright.

Nolan filters plebes like you like it's going out of style.

Is that the Green Goblin? So fucking stupid.

That's supposed to be Troy though

You mean the fake AI trailer?
>>
>>18246053
There's a real clip. If the one I watched was made by AI, we're completely media fucked.

The Brad Pitt movie had Troy with Minoan Crete columns and architecture and ancient Egyptian style clothing and no one cared then.
>>
>>18246681
But Minoan architecture and New Kingdom Egypt were in fact contemporary to the times the Trojan War myths are placed in.
These are not documentaries so of course there's plenty of artistic license to be had. But you should still be building off of the rough period/ideas of the story.
These dudes are riding Viking longships, wearing casual Carolignian dresses when not cosplaying comic book villains and building modernist art galleries instead of temples.

It's just like you don't give Robin Hood an elephant gun and have the Sheriff live in Pentagon.

The Pasolini movies of Euripides’ works are generally considered as international arthouse classics and they have kings and soldiers dressed like pic related. Medea and Oedipus Rex with Franco Citti.

People complaining that they don't use Bronze Age armor are retarded. It's a myth, and the oldest visual art based on the myth come from the Classical and Hellenistic Greeks. And, the characters weren't depicted in Bronze Age gear, but either naked or in contemporary gear.

Actually, Nolan should just go all the way and cast everyone in heroic nudity half the time.
>>
>>18246681
I was too busy complaining that they left out the gods.

More like Agamemnog

I have no clue what the fuck is causing the competency crisis in modern hollywood because this shit doesn't look like metal at all, it looks like a cheap plastic toy for kids at Party City.

Indeed, which is why Telemachus should drive from sandy Pilos to Sparta in a F150. It's fantasy, nothing matters.
