And although the military tension was central, there are some cool episodes like when the Anti-Nephi-Lehies become redeemed and are even more righteous than the nephites.The part at the end (3 Nephi?) where it's utterly apocalyptic and combatants are cannibalizing people is insane and would made an excellent movie with wide ranging battle scenes like lord of the rings.
