In the event we could do so, why shouldn't humans intervene in nature to reduce wild animal suffering?
>>
DEFINE «WILD ANIMAL SUFFERING».

God, I bet her pussy and asshole were so tight. She was little too, so you know you could just lift her up like a little doll and have your way with her. She probably enjoyed that the most.
>>

Do you not understand what suffering is, or do you not understand what a wild animal is?
>>
>>18246087
It’s called natural selection.
>>
>>18246118
And?
>>
What the fuck do you even suggest we do?
>>
>>18246131
Read Darwin’s book if you’re that curious. Natural selection is a necessity and can’t be artificially interfered with on a large scale—unless you want entire species to go extinct. Maybe you shouldn’t have skipped 8th grade biology.

It's pretty fruitless since the wilderness doesn't care either way, but humans aren't struggling for survival thanks to civilization, so anyone is free to do whatever they want in their leisure time.
As a participant society, you shouldn't be mandated to involuntarily sacrifice your own time and energy for just an animal, though you might opt in for external reasons like not wanting to feel bad or being afraid of social consequences.
If theoretically someone wanted to cause animal suffering and somehow had the legal, moral, and societal okay. Nature still wouldn't care.

And?
>>

What a blatant bait. I shouldn’t even dignify this weak excuse for a reply with a response.

>waaaaa why is this person i insulted not taking me seriously

Sapient and sentient beings are under an obligation to rescue all (ALL) sentient beings from the evolutionary accident which allowed them to suffer.

Not one raccoon, not one dust mite can be permitted to suffer.

Man was cast out of the garden, he must rebuild it.

That’s cute. Now try coming up with a science-based argument that’s more than one word, you child.
>>

Is the capacity to suffer a defect? The ability to perceive pain is usually a signal either to change one's own state or environment if possible, ideally for improved conditions or long term comfort.
>>
>>18246118
I'm natural so I will be selecting
>>
>>18246100
agreed
>>
>>18246087
Reducing wild animal suffering is to reduce wild animals, and wild people, wild ideas, wild behavior, etc.
>>
>>18246275
I forget. Also wild places where you can avoid whoever it is thinks they know how a utopia works.
>>
>>18246087
Because suffering is inevitable. If we turn predators into herbivores that just means their prey now dies slow deaths of starvation and disease.
>>

They just define everything as suffering and want to end all life on earth while having a party over destroying it. Then they want to do it again after they reincarnate as whatever it is they are next. I don't know why. They still get mad if they fail and die in a puddle of vomit.
