Every poor country grinding right now, every third worlder coping that "once we get development we'll be happy" is in for the most soul-crushing realization. The poor can't see that existence is worthless because they're too busy surviving. They look at rich countries and think that's happiness but they're wrong. Once they finally get their infrastructure, their full bellies, their consumer goods, their 40-hour work weeks, they'll discover what the developed world already knows but won't admit. That the treadmill never ends, the void doesn't fill, and wealth just reveals that there was never anything worth having in the first place. The pain of poverty at least gave life purpose. Chase the next meal, escape the suffering. But comfort strips away the illusion and leaves you staring at pure, meaningless existence. The developed world is already there, spiritually dead but too medicated and distracted to fully process it. The "developing" world will get their turn. They'll build their economies, satisfy every material desire, and then... nothing. Just an overwhelming, inescapable boredom and the recognition that consciousness itself was the problem all along. Being rich doesn't make you happy, it just removes the excuses for why you're not.
>>18247558No, you’re just a faggot who looks CREATION in the face and goes “this isn’t good enough.” If life is so meaningless give me all your shit.
>>18247558Atheism fails again
>>18247558Being poor and abused isn't a good thing even in a first world country, the things that make "first world" people unhappy tend to be the same things that make people from poorer countries unhappy, being abused/dominated, lack of privacy/agency/space, lack of material comfort, economic insecurity (risk of homelessness, loss of utilities, etc), physical insecurity/lack of safety (threats of violence, rape, sexual abuse, robbery, theft, etc). The fact that "first world" countries might be "better" than some other countries doesn't mean they're experientially good places to live for most people, better just means better it doesn't mean good.>>18247562>something exists so therefore its goodThis is a stupid argument. Something isn't better than nothing. A bad creation isn't better than no creation.
>>18247593>Everyone would be better off dead because nothing matters because... I just don't think it does OKAY???
>>18248009Not existing is better thane existing in a retarded hell world, the only reason dying is bad is because God will force-reincarnate me to abuse me more.
>>18248211I had the exact thoughts you did when I was like 13-16 and had little control of my life and my home situation was unpleasant. Now I try to look for good in the world and appreciate what I can in my life even if the superstructure is either corrupted, inherently malicious, or indifferent to my existence. I can create a life within which I have some control and can experience things that do bring me genuine joy. Try to appreciate what you can and build off of it (unironically this isn't some guru self-help shit, like find something you care about or good at or whatever and try to build meaning from it, unless you are goycattle)
>>18247558The meaning of life is sex. The reason first worlders are unhappy is because they can't get laid since they gave women rights.
>>18248227The meaning of life is redundancy, expressed through sex
>>18248229>>18248227The meaning of the life is to live. Not redundancy, not sex, although I will say that sex is perhaps the only thing that makes me feel truly alive, at least condomless creampie sex.
Poorfag cope. The reason people are becoming more miserable in the West now is because we are rapidly falling away from the postwar consensus and folding back into Victorian era super-exploitation where 1% of the people have 99% of the wealth. Those people are having a blast. But Becky from Manchester (or Farah from Cairo for that matter) will still have to live like a rat all life long or sell poon to get anywhere (and even this only if she's lucky enough to be born pretty). The 'delusion' in poor countries is rather that the benefit of development goes to the common people. The rich will always pocket 95% of all economic gains.
>>18248231>The meaning of the life is to liveSo.ss to produce redundancy.
Notice how every single reply in this thread is contrarian faggots who cannot deal with the truths OP dropped on them
>>18248229The meaning of life is what you impose upon it. Not unlike how a word has changing definitions over the course of its usage, people exist within different settings and contexts, acting for those purposes, but unlike a word which is used by us, we are the ones who place ourselves within different contexts. Just as humanity is able to give definition to spoken word which has no inherent meaning, we are much able to do the same with our own lives and can create a life for ourselves that is satisfactory in accordance with our values and preferences.
