There is no contemporary evidence of Jesus ever existing. You cannot point to the bible as your evidence. Outside of the bible there are literally no sources about Jesus that were written around the time of his life. Tacitus Josephus wrote about Jesus several decades after he died.

Prove me wrong and provide contemporary sources of Jesus' life, but not from the Bible because the Bible is a fiction.

What is the point of this thread other than to have the same arguments?

prove to me that Jesus was a real person nigga

He's more well documented than monarchs of his day.

>Outside of the bible
Why do I need sources outside of the Bible? Where are your sources outside of science that the Big Bang is real?
>>
>>18250029
Jesus was real because the Talmud admits nit only was he real, but he was proficient at magic.

>You cannot point to the bible as your evidence.
Why?

Not (him) but that was incredibly retarded

Jesus was a rebellious rabbi who was crucified. Rome put down rebellious rabbis on a daily basis. There would've been little to no interest for non-Christians to write about him after his death. The fact Mark was written only 30-40 years after his death is fairly impressive by ancient biography standards.

you are retarded

If he was Jesus of Nazareth you'd think people would've written about him while he was alive, but not a single source exists.

Science isn't a book, retard.
A priest invented the big bang and barely any modern science is inherently dependent on big bang cosmology.

It's almost like arbitrarily excluding an entire category of knowledge is a bad idea. Now tell me what is 2+2, outside of mathematics?
>>

>an entire category of knowledge
The bible isn't a category, its a single book, retard.

>Now tell me what is 2+2, outside of mathematics?
Mathematics isn't a single book, retard.
>>
>>18250425
>its a single book
It's actually a library of books, nice try
>>
>>18250437
No, its a single book composed of a bunch of short stories,
If you are talking about excluding categories, it would be in the category of historical mythology and OP is not throwing out all historical books, he is specifically trying to get people to cite historical books, only excluding the fictional mythologies because he wants to show whether it is real or not by seeing if it is mentioned by other historical documents or just in the book of fictional short stories about magical demons and their human familiars.
>>
>>18250437
Sure, you could fill up a library with all the contradicting translations, but the bible document itself is just bound in one book.

Jesus was an obscure rabbi who spent the majority of his ministry going around small villages in the Galilee area preaching. He would've been one among tons of rabbis doing this. There wasn't going to be many educated people in these areas that'd be interested in sitting down and writing about one of the many wandering rabbis in the area. Even the initial followers of Jesus were mostly coming from sectors of Jewish society that were illiterate. The small reference to Jesus from the historian Thallus was written about 20 years after Jesus's death. Paul's earliest writings about Jesus was from this time too. The first biography of Jesus would be Mark which is about 30-40 years after. That's not bad for an obscure rural rabbi who got crucified and his movement exploded in popularity after his death.
