How come modern fantasy was almost entirely inspired by christianity? LotR, Narnia, D&D, harry potter were written by christian authors inspired by their religion. I can't imagine muslims making something like it without retards crying about paganism and alahlalhalah

Literally all pagan. Christian cope. There's no difference between LotR and HP. Yet people thought HP was satanic and LotR was just fine somehow. European folk lore is literally paganism.

There were people who thought that LOTR was pagan too somewhere in New Mexico. These people always eat their own.

It's not. Try The Charwoman's Shadow. It's set in golden age Spain so it features, but it's far from the inspiration. There's lots of stuff written between 1890 (Frankenstein was a ghost story challenge and explicitly not inspired by Christianity according to Shelly) to the golden age of magazine serials with no Christianity. I think you'd be hard pressed to call Princess of Mars or Conan Christian inspired.

Dragon Quest was made by a Japanese guy though (and I don't believe Horii's Christian, it's rare in the country and his wiki article doesn't mention it)

Lotr has a Christian core surrounded by a pagan facade. Narnia literally has Lion Jesus

Tolkien purposefully avoided portraying worship and organized religion in Middle-Earth and also scrapped his plans of portraying Valar having children, because he precisely wanted them to come across more like archangels and less like a pagan pantheon. Funnily enough and perhaps unwittingly the side effect of that was that whenever Tolkien's writings mention temples or religious rituals they are always only connected to Morgoth and evil sorcery.

Good old Jack Chick also considered Lord of the Rings one of the gateways to demonic possession, but it was because Tolkien was a Catholic.

It's mostly because of some pulp publishers in the 1960's and 1970's I forgot their name. Despite works such as Conan stories or LotR being the centerpiece of the conversation, majority of fantasy tropes etc. come from some jewish pulp publishing house the name of which escapes me that simply developed formula for banal shit boring fantasy novels that then got their "reaction" by people like Moorcock trying to be edgier than life.
Since said publishing house wanted something like medieval/renaissance Europe it was that, with Christian subtexts being baked into them. It's all slop for pigs.

That is really funny actually.

it was a money making scheme, yeah. they created a template, either you stuck to it or you didn't get published and they sold them for 3$ a book. They flooded the market with slop filtered through the taste of opportunistic capitalists, who famously have no sense of taste beyond their own vapors.

I thought Britain had their own pagan fantasy tradition with fairies and magical creatures who live in forests or in "another world" with characters like Shakespeare's Oberon and Titania, Peter Pan even the Alice in wonderland somewhat.

>LotR, Narnia, D&D,
That's all ancient shit. Modern fantasy is the Elder Scrolls, which is Buddhist.

Also a semi-prominent fantasy work, Mount & Blade, was made by Turks, so you're wrong.
