>In 1940, a year before Pearl Harbor, Washington developed an ambitious plan for a sneak attack on Japanese bases. The U.S. would send in American pilots and planes wearing Chinese uniforms and markings. These were the Flying Tigers. They would bomb Japan. The U.S. Army (which was in charge of the Air Corps) was opposed to this scheme and raised obstacles, noting that being able to reach Japan depended on the weak Chinese National Revolutionary Army being able to build and protect airfields and bases close enough to Japan, which they doubted he could do. The generals had little confidence in the scheme. Ignoring the Army's advice, American civilian leaders were captivated by the idea of China attacking Japan by air. Enthusiastic approval came Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau Jr. and President Franklin D. Roosevelt himself.

>Toshio Tamogami (田母神 俊雄, Tamogami Toshio; born July 22, 1948)[1] is a retired Japan Air Self-Defense Force general and politician. He served as the Chief of Staff of the Air Self-Defense Force from March 2007 until his dismissal in October 31, 2008.

>Tamogami was dismissed in 2008 due to a controversial essay he wrote. In the essay, he denied that Japan was an aggressor in World War II and claimed that Japan had been drawn into the war by Chiang Kai-shek and Franklin D. Roosevelt. He also argued that Japan's wartime actions were not acts of aggression but were justified as self-defense and efforts to "liberate Asia from Western colonialism."[1][2][3][4]

>Tamogami turned to politics following his retirement from the military. In 2014 he ran as a candidate for governor of Tokyo and for the House of Representatives; in which he both lost. He was arrested in April 2016 for alleged violations of campaign finance laws (illegal payments to supporters) in relation to his gubernatorial campaign.[5] He made a political comeback in 2024 by running for the Tokyo gubernatorial election, but placed fourth and performed worse compared to his 2014 run.[6] He has been described as a "champion of Japan's right wing". He denies that women were forced by the Empire of Japan into sex work as "comfort women" and that the Nanjing Massacre occurred.[7][8][9]

Also pretty funny to compare his twitter profile pic in 2025 to this actual picture from 2024

Both are true, Japanese were KANGing in the east but Roosevelt wanted to attack(but couldn't) so he crippled their supplies while supplying China. Pearl Harbor was purposefully used as a bait too.

That was after Japan invaded Fremch Indochina in 1940, retard.

The US embargoed Japan and sent Flying Tigers in response to Japan invading French Indochina.

Japan had 2 war plans if they failed to defeat China by 1940.

The Japanese army wanted to invade Soviet Siberia

The Japanese navy wanted to invade Southeast Asia. Including the American held Philippines.

The US, UK and Dutch knew about these plans, and continued selling oil to Japan against China unless Japan publicly put the second plain into action

Japan was defeated by the Soviets at Khalkhin Gol when it tried probing Soviet defences.

Japan invading French Indochina in 1940 publicly signaled to the west that it was planning to conquer Philippines, Dutch East Indies and British colonies.

Both Japan and the west knew this, hence the western embargo against Japan and flying tigers. The Hull note was a last ditch attempt at a chance to avoid war

The US never embargoed Japan or sent the Flying Tigers when Japan was attacking China all the way from 1931-1940

US didn't embargo Japan when it started full scale war against China in 1937

US embargoed Japan because Japan planned to.conquer US and other western colonies in SEA

>>18256084
Chiang Kai-shek deliberately tried to avoid fighting Japan and was forced to fight Japan at gunpoint in the Xi'an incident in 1936.

This is how you can tell how someone is a subhuman bot repeating Japanese propaganda from a real person

Chinese fought and killed Japanese in spite of Chiang's efforts to help Japan, not because of him.

Chiang tried to sent 120,000 troops to fight the Ili rebellion in Xinjiang away from Japan in 1944-1946 and refused to let them fight Japan.

Chinese fought and crushed Japan in the Second Guangxi campaign in 1945 in spite of Chiang trying to help the Japanese.

Roosevelt never embargoed Japan for attacking China.

US continued supplying most of Japan's oil, iron, copper and rubber from 1937-1940 against China.

Roosevelt embargoed Japan for invading French Indochina in 1940, because the US knew Japan's actual war plan involved conquering all of Southeast Asia including the US held Philippines.

French Indochina itself had no oil and few known resources at the time.

Japan planned to use French Indochina to attack the rest of SEA for oil and rubber.

Japan also invaded French Indochina after China defeated Japan at the battle of Kunlun pass in Guangxi and the battle of Wuyuan in West Suiyuan battle.

Japan planned to sever China's last remaining land borders with the French at Kunlun pass and with Soviet Central Asia at West suiyuan (by invading Ningxia, Gansu and Qinghai to cut the Hexi corridor Gansu road to Xinjiang and the Longhai railway in Shaanxi).

Britain already closed the Burma road and British India in early 1940 upon Japan's request.

Japan lost both battles, failing to sever China's borders, and instead invaded French Indochina to cut the border there and get ready to invade the rest of SEA.

I mean he is right in a sense, but then again, so is the rest of the world. It takes two to tango. Japan's willingness to go to war and western colonialism ferver. East Asia was almost completely under western colonialism, so was Africa, so was South America, so was South/SouthEast Asia. Russia had also taken the Asian steppes completely.

And the Japanese wartime prostitution rings were both Japanese money as sex workers want survival chance and Japan being conveniently there to give them that chance to survive.

Japanese samurai helped the Dutch genocide Muslim Bandanese natives of the Banda islands

Japan helped France take over Vietnam by threatening to go to war with China over the Gapsin coup in Korea, after China defeated the French on land in Second Tonkin campaign (battle of Zhennan pass, Bang Bo.

Despite China defeating France in Taiwan (Tamsui and Keelung) and Vietnam, China had to withdraw troops from Vietnam and let France in after Japan threatened to join the war

Japanese soldier and American officers jointly attacked Paiwan Aboriginals in Taiwan in 1874 (Americans also attacked them in Formosa expedition of 1867 after Rover incident).

Japan joined western countries in the Eight Nation Alliance in massacring and raping Manchus in Beijing's 8 banner inner city in Boxer rebellion in 1900

Japan signed the Taft Katsuura agreement with US in 1905, with US supporting Japan taking over Korea as a protectorate in exchange for Japan supporting US colonisation of Philippines

>Japanese money as sex workers want survival chance

Japanese soldiers kidnapped and gang raped 10 year old Indonesian Javanese Muslim girls in Java as "comfort women" dumbass.

The girls were not prostitutes before being kidnapped from their families

They were not even paid.

They were gang raped by paedophile Japanese soldiers.

Japanese think this is acceptable because THEY historically pimped their own 13 year old Japanese teenage girls to Chinese men throughout Sengoku Jidai, Tokugawa Edo period era and Meiji and Taishō eras.

Chinese men like Sun Yatsen had 13 year old Japanese concubines like Kaoru Otsuki and Haru Asada.

This doesn't mean other cultures accept it moron.

Japanese Yamato parents sell their 10 year old daughters to foreign men but that's seen as disgusting by actual humans.

Japanese official documents on Chinese sex tourists from Nanjing (Nanking) in the 1600s and 1700s pumping and dumping Japanese teenage girls after getting them pregnant

http://www.eastasianhistory.org/39/vos-foibles

>As a matter of fact many Chinese seem to have worried about the education and future of such children. Huang Chê-ch’ing,12 a captain from Nanking, had a liaison with Yakumo,13 a girl from the Iwataya, and fathered a boy Kimpachi,14 his only child. In 1723, when he was 71, he returned to Nagasaki to meet his son. He then brought goods with him sufficient to take care of his son for the rest of his life and asked the Chief Administrator’s Office for a special permit to barter them.[55]

This was centuries before World War II

Chinese men from Fuqing, Fuzhou in Fujian province were grooming and importing Japanese women from Japan to Fujian, China in the 1920s, just a few years before Japan attacked China and set up Manchukuo.

https://desuarchive.org/his/thread/17164434/#q17164434

Han men did sex tourism in Japan for centuries during Sengoku Jidao, Edo period and Meiji restoration and fathered bastard children

Like Sun Yatsen, Cong Liangbi, Su Manshu's father, Sadaharu Oh's father.

Sadaharu Oh was born in Japan to a Japanese mother and Han Chinese father in Japan in 1940 in the middle of WW2.

Su Manshu had a Japanese maid mother and Chinese sex tourist father.

Japan was litetally a sex tourist destination for Chinese exiles and students during the "Century of humiliation" Meiji era.

Chinese merchants in Yokohama regularly bought and rented Japanese girls.

Chinese merchants in Meiji Japan used Japanese teenage girls as concubines and maids and pumped and dumped them.

Kazuhiro Oharazeki: Thank you for having me.

TG: You’ve published this book Japanese Prostitutes in the North American West: 1887-1920. And so, I’ve talked with other people about Japanese migration to North America, but I was hoping that you and I could talk more about what are the migrants (who come from Japan to North America) doing when they come over here? And what is the life like for the Japanese immigrants? So, could you talk about who are these people who are coming over from Japan? Where do they come from in Japan, and how many people are we talking about?

And at some point, they met procurers, who talked about nice things of America: job opportunities or a chance to have an American education or marry rich landowners in California, who turned out to be peasants or hired hands who forced them into prostitution. I also found that not all women were unaware of what kinds of work they would do in their destinations. Some women had already sold sexual services to local foreigners in Yokohama working as servants in the houses of Chinese merchants. Others worked in brothels and dance halls, catering to foreign sailors and merchants. And in that process, they became familiarized with foreigners and Western cultures, which influenced their decision to follow masters or procurers to the American West.

All of China's interior provinces that didn't touch the mid-Yangtze-Chang Jiang River, never had western troops in them.

Westerman concessions were only in coastal ports and downstream Yangtze river ports.

Japan got entirely occupied by westerners troops, unlike Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai.

From the correspondence between the Portuguese King João III and the Vatican Pope, it is apparent that the Christian daimyo sold women into slavery in exchange for the Jesuits' gun powder, at a rate of 50 baptized Japanese girls for a barrel of saltpeter.

Mc Arthur sure thought they would be a problem but nothing was done in Washington. He's lying about having the flying tigers bomb japan
That would not have done any real damage the force was too small to risk a fight against a contested force who could simply stop them from ever reaching Japan.
>>

Just in case you do not understand how silly the accusation is the US manned CAT were an airforce made up of retired US vets and based in China.
The main problem with this senile twitterfags claim isn't the CAT leaving the area they were supposed to defend to conduct futile airstrikes on a war ready Japan, what he is actually saying is the US were in any official capacity aiding the KMT against the CCP something that the US will always deny especially as the CAT had been in China aiding the KMT long before Japan invaded and would not be able to claim this for a reason the CAT were there to begin with.
